  Some of your choices seem a bit esoteric. Do you just cruise the racks at the local library or vid store? Or do you have a source list/review reference to consult?

    Any place we can. Some are from the well hidden sections of Netflix, but they are getting increasingly hard to find. Some we watch on Youtube (there are tons of old movies there), and then there is the library. There are no video stores in our area, unfortunately.

      Netflix is OK, but I am more and more enjoying filmstruck streaming. Here is a list from another website of their current selection (this list is updated as their titles change).

          I paid 100 dollars for a year, this includes the Criterion channel. In terms of foreign movies, that is more or less their calling card. Best to look at the link I enclosed and check out the list.
