I am sure it was just a coincidence that Netflix introduced this film. A gut-wrenching documentary on the very painful page in American history - the 1950 bloody battle for control of North Korea.
Hell with it... whatever the reason, it is a great war documentary, so I strongly recommend it.
Follow Ups:
no cheesy recreations. Just straightforward documentary storytelling with good footage and graphics

the Korean War is really an interesting thing. We started out behind the Eight Ball and then had FU's like Chosin. We lost almost as many as in the VN Conflict but in three years not ten. Brutal.
The Last Stand Of Fox Company. Highly recommended reading. Small unit (company size) tactics against a 8x larger force trying to take a hill overlooking the US forces route of retreat thru Toktong Pass.I'll be on the lookout for that documentary

...until Obama starts calling the shots on the content.
An excellent documentary that I watched when it originally appeared on PBS. I'm puzzled by the comment about Obama and content.
The Obama's just signed a deal with Netflix to produce a series of shows, film, and documentaries. How Old Commie links that to the documentary Victor was referencing is, indeed, mystifying........

It is painful to watch.
