...the film looked great.I'm a big fan of J Law's.
The film was a little disturbing from an ethical standpoint, and the last half was predictable and sucked once Cowboy Curtis (L. Fishburne) appeared (The reactor is going to blow! Get out in space and fix it!).
Otherwise it was watchable :-)

She's NOT a great actress, NOT a great beauty and if you've ever seen her interviewed not much of an intellectual... Your basic Hollywood bimbo... Just wondering what people see in her... But I've always felt the same way about Meryl Streep (however she CAN act) too! Glad you liked the movie though... Will never be a "classic" but I thought it had its moments.

...I thought she was terrific in Winter's Bone and Silver Linings Playbook and good in Mother.
She's been nominated for Best Actress 3 times and won once.
She's only 27 - give her time.
Given the right material and direction, she can clearly act. Winter's Bone and Silver Linings Playbook are great examples.
She's pretty easy on the eyes too.
