"The Last Sharknado: It's About Time" shows tomorrow, Sunday the 19th, on the SyFy Channel.
The same co-stars, Ian Ziering as Fin, and Tara Reid (the middle-aged sorority blonde from Hooterville) as April. Other cameo guest roles as per usual.
The network is pulling the drain plug on the series at 6, but you can never predict the weather with certainty. The first attack was in 2013. As the sarcastic title suggests, this one will involve time travel.
Sharknado has become its own genre with a very hardcore following, rising to iconic status. Everything about the movies, and everyone associated with them -- except the characters themselves --is in on the joke.
If you miss the debut tomorrow, don't worry. I'm sure you'll get 20 more chances before everyone dies horribly.
Follow Ups:
I always liked when tara reid showed up on my TV. I was sorry to hear a director speak of her troubles. Said he wanted to hire her as a lead, so set her down and explained it carefully to her.
Just 13 days work and she would be back, insurable and with a lead credit under her belt. JUst 13 days work, but she couldn't hold it togethr, and he had to reshoot her scenes.
Must be a tough ticket, a deluxe career second chance, and couldn't toe the mark . I don't think I would handle that one with ease.
I never found the time to watch a sharknado movie, but the concept seems fun.
...or maybe the least bad of the group.

It's about time, indeed. The silliness eventually comes back around full circle. It wears you down so you give up fighting it.
That all said, adios. Thank god a chainsaw made a cameo.
I wonder if Tara has tattoos?
in helping to keep the budget on track?
