We started watching these series on Amazon Prime to simply occupy time, while waiting for the DVD's, but it turned into rather positive experience.

So far we watched two episodes, and they are light, non-trivial and quite entertaining... even thought provoking.

I'm going to stop reading this thread because of the spoilers, but I absolutely LOVED the first episode. Marthe Keller is unbelievably great, and the thing crackles with intelligence and humor.
Sure a couple of scenes were too long, but overall it's up there with the best of "Mad Men" or "The Sopranos."

Watched the first episode last night. I'm in for more. Enjoyed it.

    Finished the second episode the other night. I enjoyed it, but not sure I liked the ending. He tries to kill her and she just drives off ... fin. Maybe it was fitting passive-aggressive ending to story about two passive-aggressive people? I'll continue to work through the episodes as they've been so well done so far. Sets, photography, acting, directing all very good.

        I may have overstated my reaction to it. It just seemed to leave so many things unsettled ... which is obviously how their lives together was. That was not the way I expected it to end, but then I'm not sure how I expected it to end. Was a bit of surprise to see Noah Wylie show up, and her husband was such a douche-bag. Great acting all the way around.

        I also found all that RomanoFFFFFFFs story funny, it is so artificial, it makes it hilarious.
        
        Each episode has some deep meaning, some better done than others, but all well done.

        Really enjoyed episode 3 last night. Had me second guessing myself right up to the very end. So far my favorite episode.

        I looked up episodes ratings, and I seem to be out of tune with everyone else. :)
        
        For instance, I would rate #6 very highly, but it received lowest overall score. I was also grossly out of phase on #8. :(

  ...still each episode has some interesting twists, situations, characters.
