A question on RAM discs

I have a Panasonic DVD recorder with the RAM "chase play" feature, but nowhere in the instructions does it tell me how either to erase the used discs, or overwrite them. Help!

Use the button that lists the programs, "navigator" - Duilawyer 20:00:41 05/23/07 (0)
use the right arrow to get to a box that allows the highlighted program to be erased or shortened. Or use Navigator to format the disc.

There should be an erase button on the remote control. Select the recorded program that you want to erase and push the erase button. The on screen prompts should walk you through the procedure.
