I am considering getting one of these to replace a 10 year old Yamaha. On a percentage wise basis, how much less heat do they emit than a non class D receiver? TIA
Follow Ups:
We have XM radio and the wife has it on all day. The TV cabinet must stay closed, WAF wise, so the various units get HOT because of this. The Panasonic should cure that problem, saving the XM tuner and Denon 3910.

I don't know the percentage heat wise but it's A LOT less. Class D amps are far more efficient (somewhere around 80-90%) so much less goes to waste as heat.
I'm using a Bel Canto eVo 2i, which is a class D amp. Its on 24/7, and isn't even warm to the touch. It uses so little energy, that heat is a non-issue.
