Doesn't say anything about 5.1 TrueHD on HD DVD either. Maybe that's a given. But I'm not in the market anyway. Actually, I'm a bit surprised the price of the BH100 has held up pretty well for so long (though not anymore after the release of this unit).
Follow Ups:
Off topic but we ended up trying 2.0 PCM through optical on my friend's PS3 and receiver. Not too shabby! One can matrix the sound through the receiever's processor to add add'l channels. Localizing the dialog to the center channel is the best option to choose amongst all those available we have learned for the best sound experience. Other options had dialog coming from all the speakers and the sound was not discrete between channels.
True HD is mandatory to meet HD DVD specs. I don't know if it has a REON chip in it either. It was just announced, so we'll have to wait for more details. I'm not in the market either, since I already have one of each, otherwise, I'ld seriously look into this.

better? :-)
The PQ is comparable on both, and BD may have the edge in audio, but that's not top of my priority list for movies. I generally prefer HD DVD, mostly because I prefer their movie titles, but I also think that HD DVD is far more consumer friendly than BD. That and the fact that my A1 is more reliable than my 1200.
