Ken Graffeo , Universal Studios V.P. , says " Today's announcements leave no doubt about the level of commitment driving this format -- HD DVD is the best choice for consumers . ... With a strong lineup of hardware and software , as well as key promotional activities through Sunday Night Football , we're making HD DVD any easy choice for the holidays and a must for every home theater owner " .
Ken Graffeo's comments are dated September 5, 2007 .
It sounds like Universal Studios is happy with its choice to release its movies on HD DVD , and not on Blu-ray .

Follow Ups:
I am stumped. Or what do DVD Audio (a dead format) and HD have in common? Stumped again.
But if this forum turns into a Kekyl:
"Your mass of Blu-Ray tears is one big Blu-Ray rhomma fart" or whatever, I am out of here. So far the opposing camps have gotten along quite civilly, pretty much. Once the psychotic nonsense from DVDA starts in
.
BD releases will far exceed 125 for the Q4, though I'm sure what is released is important. Forget what forum I saw that on.
I very much like the fact that I would be able to go to a local Blockbuster 5 minutes from my house and get a BD. I wouldn't like the fact HD DVD players are that much cheaper though to begin with over BD! :)

Gotta link?
I didn't hear that they were going to put out over 125 titles in Q4, though I guess they could if Fox made the effort.

Started by one of the BD fans though I think he included a link whereby he was getting the info/announcement. Which forum escapes me since I read through it a few weeks ago.
The latest shedule is included below.
Both sides are gearing up for Q4.
