As far as B&M stores go, the Target and Wallyworld by me don't have either (last I checked), and Best buy has both euqally at full MSRP.
I still end up buying on Amazon.

I'm sure there are some out there, just not local to me. BD is in most every Blockstore store and the selection varies dependent on the location.
Netflix has been working well for my friend. Some titles have a long wait but really those are few and far between. It probably is the same for HD DVD.
You have both formats so what has been your experience?
I have a Hollywood Video "library store" near my house; one of a handful in the country. They carry HD DVD and B-D equally. The #1 video rental place in town doesn't do any sort of high-def at this time. Blockbuster stores are much smaller and out-of-the-way, and to date I haven't seen any high-def offerings there.
I don't rent. Gave it up years ago. most that I've talked to like netflix. As for guying, I usually stick with Amazon-best overall service, selection and prices, but others have sales periodically.
