I'll be shocked if they break the $100 mark. Its already been confirmed that Wally World will be selling the A2 for $198. Stores are already, lowering their prices on the A2 to match, including K-mart. The price wars have started. This is definitely good for the consumer.

That is one hell of a bargain for a format that is still basically newborn. Joe can just use Netflix and be a happy camper thereafter!

  Holiday pricing starting Friday (in store specials):
  Toshiba HD A2 HD DVD player $98.87
  Sanyo 50 inch Plasma HD TV $998
  and about 20 HD DVD titles for $14.98 each.
  Its not exactly SOTA, but its a start.
