Mine has been on pre-order for awhile.

I've linked the DVDBeaver review & comparison of the high definition release (frame grabs are stunning; BTW, the HD-DVD set is apparently the one with lossless audio, for those interested). Looks like a winner in both HD or Blu-ray.

Last time I looked the 5 disc Complete Collectors Edition was still available from Amazon for 27.95. This is about the best bargain price for an HD release I've seen to date! :O)

If so, that's great, as I don't need the extra stuff in the suitcase. Blade Runner is one of my all-time favorite films, and I'm REALLY looking forward to getting the new BD edition!

This is definitely a movie that will benefit from HD, and yea, I skipped the suitcase version.
