Does anybody have experience with long run HDMI cables? I am thinking about either a Gefen CAT-5 Extreme extender or a better HDMI cable like the Wireworld Silver Starlight. Which one would be better? Or is there no difference? Or are there other solutions?
I am going to use it between a DVDO VP50Pro scaler and a JVC DLA-HD100 projector, and it is quality that I am looking for. But as the Gefen solution is much cheaper I will take that, if there is no difference in quality.
Any advice appreciated.

Excellent and inexpensive.
I run two 50' lenghts of HDMI, Blue jet and Calrod brands, picked up locally. Both do fine without any extra "extenders".
You don't need to spend big bucks to get excellent signal quality from a long HDMI cable. For the distance you're running, there's no need to do the Gefen cable unless you're running the cable in an evironment that is absolutely loaded with RFI/EMI.
I'm using the 10m version of the cable at this link for a long run from a switcher to a projector, and it works perfectly.
Read the reviews, especially the 2nd one.
This company really knows.
I was impressed at their lecture at CEDIA.
