  HD DVD Standalones might just have a 62:37 edge (for that week ?!) over Blu-ray, but that so far hasn't translated into a software sales edge (I suspect the uncounted PS3 game consoles are having a significant impact regarding Blu-ray's continued edge in software sales).
  
  At least with Blu-ray, there IS competition between Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, etc.... In contrast, Toshiba probably has 99+% of HD DVD player sales. How this can be considered healthy for the HD DVD CE market remains to be seen.

    in BluRay and about 750M stand alone, WITH NO numbers for stand alone sales of HD. Now it does say what he said, and I do not believe it. Bad link?
