They've been promising DTS-HD MA for the PS3 for a long time now.
This of course does nothing for those with stand alone players.
BTW, No Country For Old Men doesn't play on the Sharp, no audio via analog out.
I'm not impressed.

Follow Ups:
Penton-Man's word is held in the highest regard. There is actually another post in which he states that paidgeek (Sony Pictures insider) couldn't post this info due to his position at Sony (it wasn't his place). P-M says he received the info from someone at SCE.
I believe just about all of the positive comments about the PS3 and DTS-HD MA have been on the money, but no one has officially confirmed it. P-M confirms that it is coming (but sadly no date). My best guess is after Profile 2.0 is officially added to the PS3 and after Panasonic's BD50 is released, we'll see the update that just about everyone who owns or wants to own a PS3 has been waiting for -- DTS-HD Master Audio.
I watched No Country again last night and, as the previous three times, enjoyed the 24-bit lossless PCM. Of course, I'm using HDMI, like most other HT enthusiasts who've adopted blu-ray.
-------------Call it, friendo.
Well, some people hold his word in higher regard than others. There is no doubt that the PiS3 will get DTS-HD MA Its only a matter of time. It always was. I can't wait until PM announced that water is wet. I'm sure you fanboys will be ecstatic.
Unfortunately this still doesn't help stand alone players, which seem to be having enough problems of their own. The BDA still needs to get its act together, unless they just want to concede that BD is really nothing more than the PS3 format.
In the meantime, there are still issues with software and players, and I'm probably going to hold off buying again until they get worked out. At these prices, I expect better.

P-M's word on numerous events in the past two years have been rather spot-on. And it usually comes long before there are hints from other venues.
I made the choice to go blu after more than a year and a half's worth of research, comparison, discussion and questioning actual professionals in the industry. I did my homework, and a lot of it, before making my decision. That's what a true enthusiast does -- not a fanboy.
There has been word (rumors) since at least last year that the PS3 would get DTS-HD MA. Everyone knew it was just a matter of time. After all, the PS3 IS BD.
I do admit, that I am a bit perturbed, that after 2 years, BD is still having problems putting out completely functional discs, and at this late date, they still can't get it right.
