I have a few VHS tapes. Just horrible compared to DVD. I actually buy the DVD's insead of sitting through the VHS blur.
We'll have to agree to disagree about human caused global warming until the next global cooling scare comes along.
Follow Ups:
..from a Panasonic VHS, to a Toshiba DVD recorder. I have an old analog mixer , and for the poorer quality,. i routed them through it to use the built in "boost ".
I thought they came out pretty good. Home videos, all the kids soccer games etc. Most of the original footge was from a cancorder, later Hi 8 Camcorder.
Until better cam-corders came out. :)
..but I am still happy with the results.
I even have home movies of myself as a child from the 60's , 8MM I guess is what my father had, a Bell and Howell? . The colors are much better than I would have imagined.
I'd love to see films of bro, sis and I when we were kids. I wonder where they all went.... note to self; look for film reels. Thanks.P.S. I still have my parents wind-up movie camera from the 60's/70's (?)! Almost mint condition, quite heavy. Very neat little item. Wonder if it's worth anything.....
Whatever plays to the booboisie.

The funny thing is, 07 was very cool and the sun is going through an unusual low sunspot cycle, so rumblings of global cooling are starting!
