I received my Gran Tourismo 5 Prologue game disc and the Logitech Driving Force GT Racing Wheel yesterday. My wife and I played it last night for a couple hours. What a blast! The graphics, physics, sound, and realism are incredible. Talk about eye candy!
If you have a Playstation 3, you gotta get this game! We were doing graphics like this back in the early 1990's on million dollar Silicon Graphics equipment mainly for military flight simulation. I was working for SGI from 1991 to 2000. For a few hundred bucks you getter even better today in the Playstation 3.
My first car, the Ford Focus ST
The Cooper S goes up against the VW GTi
Honda S2000
I believe this is a Ford. Anyone know for sure?
I bought the BMW 135i after winning races with the Ford Forcus and accumulating enough credits to pay for the BMW.
The BMW 135i parked at the Kyoto house in Japan. ;-)
Logitech Driving Force GT Racing Wheel. The steering wheel has force feedback so you can feel the effects of turning around a corner. It clamps onto a table or TV tray.![]()
Follow Ups:
I've driving around in a Mazda, but earning money slowly. Do you recommend spending money on tweaks or just saving up for a new car?The steering wheel looks cool but I can't justify the cost right now, so I'm just using the sixaxis controller.
-------------Call it, friendo.
Now don't come blaming me when you can't pull yourself away from the game at 2 a.m in the morning!
I recommend a LOT of driving and winning in the C class races until you save up enough to buy better cars. I saved a ton of credits then sold the Ford Focus ST which gave me my first "high-end" car, the BMW 135i.
I then saved up enough to get the BMW M3 then the Corvette ZO6. It's a blast! Yeah, the Logitech steering wheel / pedal set was about $120 and a bit pricey but I have a hard time driving with the stock controller.

Around 500 stallions, remake of the car from the 60's I believe.

I thought it was a Ford but wasn't sure. Thanks.

More correctly, it's a Ford GT.Inspired by the classic 60's GT40 racecar.
Years ago Ford lost the rights to use the "GT40" name to one of the many replica makers.
