stupid digital TV converter box and lagging audio

everyone looks like they are being dubbed poorly. WTF is going on with that converter box?
Zenith DTT900, which apparently already has been replaced by the DTT901.

At some point in time buying newer and no-longer-subsidized converters puts me in the place of longing for a "real" digital TV.

I've had 3 Scientific Atlanta DVR's and that happens at times with all of them.
I've been told it's because of the amount of data for a HD picture that sometimes it gets out of sync.
Yea it stinks.

Maybe in 10 years from now they will finally get all this straightened out.
I just love blocking, split screens, and all the other digital problems.

How do you have it connected?? Where does the video signal and audio signal go?
