I'm ready to replace the small TV in the kitchen which we watch almost as much as the 40" Mitsubishi TV in the living room. Can't find any recommendations for cheaper 19/20" LCDs. I find good reviews on bargain priced larger TVs, but it seems smaller ones need to be $400 to be very good (Sony, etc). The cheaper brands don't seem to have very good reviews. And for a little more, I can buy a 32", which I don't have the room for. Any thoughts, thanks

My brother reports good results from two 19-inch Insignia (Best Buy house brand) panels purchased over the holidays (for $200 ea) for his granddaughters. Rumor has it that at least the screens on these are made by LG and perhaps the entire sets.
It was the best I could find, at the time, last spring. It has an outstanding picture.

I just went to a electronics store yesterday, and I looked at everything from 19 to 42. As far as just what is pleasing to my eye, I like the Samsung picture the best. LG also had a very good picture. I dont know any more then that though. My focus is more on the 32-37 inchers.
Good luck to you.

Vizio has a nice picture also. Costco sells them.Cheaper than the major brands.I bought a 19" LCD for $230.00
