Need Help Setting Up Older AV Receiver

I have a nice old Onkyo TX-SV90PRO that I can't find the user manual for. Before you send me out to google it....I already have....extensively. I've found (and downloaded) the schematics but I really need something that gives me some idea as to how to set my system up. I'm a 2 channel man and have never even contemplated surround before. Some of the new SACDs are actually using surround.....

... is to provide a LOT more information I think.
-Is the receiver Dolby/DTS/5.1/7.1 ?
-Are you wanting surround for movies and music, music only, movies only?
-Do you have any speakers at all for this system?
-Is this a primary system replacing your 2ch rig, or a separate system?
-Are you wanting recommendations for speakers, or locations, TV type, speaker type, or?
-What size is your room....
Etc, etc. Hard to help if we don't know what you want or what you have.

      I don't know what the history of this model is but it doesn't turn up on E-bay very often. That said, I have a saved search just in case one shows up with an owner's manual.

        if your wanting to run multi channel sacd with it.you need at least 6 analog inputs.
