Well, I copied the phrase from your post, added "RCA" and Googled "DB25-to-8-channel RCA." It came up with lots of reasonable hits.

Cheers for that, but I've already done the Google and had a look at a couple of such cables - our friends Monster even do one.

I'm after something a bit better if possible although I realise I probably won't get it.

    I don't even want to buy one.
    
    The very fact that 8 channels of audio have to terminate into one connection doesn't leave much scope for screening of the individual channels so I know I'm probably whistling in the wind here anyway.
    
    The cable I've linked to for instance shows how spartan the screening is at the RCA ends; would you buy stereo ICs of this construction and be happy you'd be getting the best out of your Revel speakers? :0)

      How can you tell anything about the quality of the screening? By the diameter? Na. There are many high quality, well-screened RCA cables that are not as thick as a python. For example, I have some really excellent ones from Crystal Cable and Stereovox that are no thicker than the ones that appear in the picture.
