I'm looking at adding another HD Receiver(/DVR?) to my Dishnetwork setup. But now that both DirectTV and AT&T now have decent HD feeds, I should consider switching; Especially since Dishnetwork actually wants me to pay for a Receiver upgrade (imagine that). Anyone have any opinions on the relative merits of the competing HD packages ?
One minus for Dishnetwork is the absence of GolTV (non-HD) but plus HAD (and maybe still is...) always been Dishnetworks overall HD package.
Follow Ups:
Can't compare to Dish but in my neighborhood the AT&T fiber optic ended about a half mile away and compared to Comcast the image quality was poor. The AT&T guide was difficult to navigate with HD channels spread all over the place. One DVR for three sets was another pain. We used it for two days and sadly went back to the more pricey Comcast. There was a $100 U-Verse signing bonus that we tried to return but they said keep it.

I don't know about Comcast but I made to switch to DishNetwork from Charter digital cable a while back and have been happy since.
But now that DirecTV has seriously upgraded their HD lineup, I'll have to take a look. With Dish, I can set "preferences" to navigate only through the HD channels; there isn't something similar for AT&T "channel-surfing" ?
To be fare I really didn't give the AT&T guide much of a chance and the image quality might be great in your area.
