I think its time to retire my Classe SSP25. I get some pretty serious lip synch issues running my BD player and Plasma set in 24P Mode with no way to adjust any delays beyond the basic setup in the SSP25. Plus it would be nice to hear the better audio from BD.

2 channel analog music playback is the top priority for my system. The Classe is connected to the processor loop on the VTL and is used for movies and tv sound only. I'm looking for sugestions in the $1000-1500 range.

    Kal and Jazz--Are you aware of any issues with the 9.8 with these symptoms? I have an HD cable box hooked up via HDMI cable. Sometimes when changing channels, the picture changes to the next channel but there is no audio. Going back and forth eventually fixes it. No problems when cable box is hooked upto a different TV and receiver.

      I think it can be avoided by using different output settings on my HD receiver and having the Integra process a lower-quality signal, but I like to output at the highest quality and send it through the Integra with minimal or no processing. It does take the Integra a couple seconds to lock on a signal.

      It has happened a handful of times over the years. When it happens, it is annoying but those occasions are so rare that it is not a big issue. Every prepro/AVR I have tried has one HDMI problem or another.
