How much per movie? I see the link right above for Canada's Netflix, but I'm scared to hit the banner. :) OK, I hit it. No limit how long you get to keep it for? I did not see any prices.
My main problem with that is I have no idea when I'll end up watching a movie. I might watch one this weekend as our usual Friday night wine night folks will be out of town. Otherwise generally 1-2 times a month, never knowing ahead. Still don't think it'd work for me.
Follow Ups:
Grant, I use Netflix with the one film at a time plan. For BluRay it costs about $11.50 a month. I average two films a week which works out at less than $1.50 per film. DVD only rental is a couple of dollars less. It works for me as I don't care about having a film on its' first day of release. I put desired titles in my queue and get them when they are available.

"Hey, you wanna have B&D over for a movie tomorrow night?"
"Sure, what movie do you think?"
"Well, I know B hasn't seen 2012, and I'd like to see it also. I know you'd rather see a girly movie, but I don't care what you want." (kidding on the last part)
"Sure, I'll text them"
"Text? What's that?" :) OK seriously: "Sure... WAIT, I have 2012 in queue and won't get it until next week probably. And next week we're going to S&D's for their party"
That's my life. Movies being in queue just doesn't work.
If BB AND Rogers etc all go down the pooper I'll have to look into "renting" through my cable box. Otherwise I'll watch even fewer movies (which is fine).

It all depends on which monthly package you choose. There's no time limit on how long you keep the movies. Most packages include unlimited movie and TV show downloads as well.
Never rented or watched a TV show other than when it's current or just to kill time. Renting/buying TV shows'd never happen.
Ah, monthly packages. Then I'm damned for sure. :) How about a monthly package of 1-2 rentals per MONTH. LOL....
I guess I'll wait until BB and Rogers go the way of the Dodo bird.
I appreciate all the replies!

Try watching a TV series you like off Netflix.
Just one episode.
No commercials, when you want it, and the picture and sound will be better
than off the air.
I don't watch broadcast anymore. If it's any good, Netflix will get it.
LMAO..well the last time I checked you could rent two DVDs with unlimited downloads for around $12 a month. I haven't used them in quite a while. The package prices may have increased since then. The TV shows are on the site with the movies. They're just an option for people that want to catch up on a show if they want to. It's just one flat rate per month. You could get two movies at a time and watch them and get two more. It just goes on like that. For a big movie watcher you could theoretically get 8 DVDs a month if you drop them in the mail after viewing them. The next two in your queue will be shipped out as soon as the ones you ship back show up in their system.
