        you should NEVER BELIEVE A WORD in Popular Mechanics. They are the most insidious of disinfo and misinfo rags going. Their skewed view was bought and paid for on issues like their ridiculous coverage of UFOs and 9/11. Their articles are very far from scientific. I'm not surprised to see such turd brain coverage.
        
        
        The HDMIs that I've tried on my Panny 1080p plasma:
        
        Belden is significantly better than the throw away
        The Pangea silver is considerably better than the Belden
        
        It may be 1's and 0's, but like digitial audio cables, it seems to make a difference.
