Help please. Costco is selling the Panasonic
Viera 42" 1080P for $680 and the 50" 720P for only $20 more. My room has no sunlight
and is sort of small but I can still watch from 7 or 8 feet back. Should I get the 50" and not worry about the lesser 720P number. I don't watch games. Mostly football and movies.
Thanks

especially going from 42 to 50". I went from 40 to 46 and the difference is huge...
You might get ten years out of it, maybe more, so why get anything less for the sake of a bit of pocket change.
Good luck!

sorry for the mix=up but the 50" is 720. The 42" is the 1080
... No mix up. I simply wouldn’t consider a 720P model.
I don’t know how much ‘extra’ the 1080P model 50 inch is but it won’t be much especially if you amortise the difference over ten years or so.
Ultimately you will buy whatever you perceive to be the best buy.
Good luck.
