t.v.'s have stopped getting better

I really don't see much improvement, other than price, in tv's in the last years.

I prefer the lcd projector or dlp of three years ago to the ubiquitous led/lcd's you see everywhere today.

Todays tv's are lighter and thinner...cheaper and easier to ship and store. But picture quality? I'm hoping we will see improvements again in the future.

Dont overlook plasmas. Still the leader in picture quality.

  I'll take a plasma any day over anything else I've seen. Other screen types still appear cartoon-like to me.

    I said something to the effect about 'artificial looking' and lcd in some forum somewhere. They beat the hell out of me. Troll was the kindest word spoken.
    
    But I really don't like lcd's. They make everything look like video.
