which are two of my families favorite shows.
Below is a link to ask Dish Network keep AMC.
If they don't listen, and drop it anyway, I will drop them, (as those are two of the very few shows that I watch).
What do you recommend that we switch to?
Comcast (i.e. Cable TV);
or Direct TV, (Satelite);
or something else?
(And let me know your reason why I should switch to that particular TV provider.)
Thanks!

I can only compare to cable, but I have been quite happy with Directv.
I'm 100% against copying anything, even CDs from friends....but if this corporate greed shit continues I'll copy and steal everything not locked down. If they don't respect subscribers who are willing to pay (an ever increasing rate) to watch top quality programming why should I respect them?
Baba-Booey to you all!
I don't care. Doesn't Hulu carry that? What is Hulu anyway?
My basic proposition now is other than for local PBS programming, isn't Hulu enough? Don't know what there fees are though, nor much else about it.
Depending upon one's access to high-speed internet, isn't that the new game changer??
Our DSL seems to be maxed out at a fairly low speed, (at least in comparison to what I get in the City @ work).
(as if I know what that entails)
Since I've been with them (1.5 years) there's been no disputes with AT&T and content providers. Our DISH picture thru our 46" Mitsubishi LCD was awesome. We ditched the TV when we moved, signed up with AT&T and now have 55" & 65" sets so it's hard to make a picture comparison between AT&T vs. DISH with different, larger, TVs. No complaints tho.

Do I have to spell it out?

O---N---I---O---N---S
Oh no.....
To be honest, I have mixed feelings about AT&T U-verse, as I use that for our DSL at work. While it takes them less than a day to fix any problems that come up, (and there have been a couple), which is good; at the same time, it usually takes me half a day, or more, to finally find the right person to speak to, as their U-verse service for business is rather small and is not handled by the U-verse that handles the much larger residential service. It has left a bad taste in my mouth for using them again, (even if it is for residential).
