  Lets see if they can get the price down. I'd love one, but I won't pay $10K+ for a 55" set. IIRC, some other companies worked on OLED for years and gave up declaring it cost prohibitive.

    Few years back, LCD technology cost that much and many were willing to pay. Price does not seem out of line for those that want the best. It will be interesting to see one. I wonder what the resolution will be, though, as eventually they'll crank it up past 1900 x 1080?

      Surely you are not implying that LCD was ever better than plasma? I know that early plasmas were $15k, etc. I never saw LCDs that were.
