I am still looking for owners manuals for these two pieces of equipment. It looks so straightforward to hook up but I have not been able to get it to display anything. The problem may be that I'm hooking up the cable wrong but I also saw something about this tuner would not be compatible with broadcast signals to grab out of the air. I'm kind of at a loss now which stinks because I think these things would be cool to set up and play with :) IF anyone has any info, I'd love to have it.

Yeah, here they are. Let me know if I need to take better pics.

Also, there aren't many option on the back of the decoder. There is a level +/- dial, an "MPX Input" plug and L/R Audio In plugs. That's it.

The Tuner seems pretty easy to figure out - it is the Decoder that I am having difficulties with....
where does it get its Input - maybe a better pic of its rear panel....
The Tunner appears to take input from an antenna & / or 75Ohm cable (antenna or Cable - POST cable Box??) and inputs from VCR/disc (which would give you two coices - DVD/BluRay/VCR/LAserDisc/Computer output - if a single co-ax...
the tunner can select stations for OTA broadcast (Only - Probably)and you can select between the two other inputs - Labeled: VCR & Disc.
Let's see where / what input the decoder takes....
I will post new pics in a bit. As for the tuner, I tried plugging in the 75ohm cable from the cable line out of the wall, and i have tried to connect an over the air antenna, and have tried connecting composite cable from the output plug on the cable box. But, in none of those circumstances am I able to see a picture. Not sure what I am doing wrong, or if these even still work anymore. I'm amazed that there is NO info on the internet but I truly have looked hard and truly cannot find a thing! So far, you are the only brave sole willing to provide any bit of guidance (for which I am truly thankful)!

It also appears that the MPX input on the decoder is connected with a cable from the MPX output on the tuner and that the audio "outs" on the decoder correspond to the audio "ins" on the tuner. The more I keep looking at this it seems like I should be able to hook up an antenna and get OTA broadcast channels. I am going to try that again in a few minutes and report back.
