In Reply to: RE: can you still find blu-ray ripping software? posted by violinist3 on November 06, 2014 at 21:18:47
Do searches on Softpedia for blue-ray [blu ray, bluray] ripper, ripping, rip, copy, copying, copier, etc., and you will find several.
Follow Ups:
they got sued by the government last March and lot of other software makers arebailing out. I'd like to find some reviews of software that still works. I'd hate to spend 50 bucks and get something that won't get past the protection.
DVDFab still works quite well. Where did you get your information? Additionally, you can also use something like AnyDVD to decrypt the disc and then use any burner you like. The US govt. still does not have control over every foreign government - thank God!!

they threw in the towel so to speak.I could find a copy of DVD fab or buying a used one on Craigslist ortake a chance on some unknown software from overseas.
another hitch is that I'm using Windows XP and its not compatible with the blu-ray internal drives. There is a Toshiba program that can be
ised that will make it work though.
AnyDVD worked, last time I tried. I dropped DVDFab a few years ago when I discovered that it wasn't reporting disc read errors on some scratched DVDs.
MakeMKV may be better if you just want the main movie in a convenient format. It's currently free.
