I am thinking of turning a couple of half wall into bookshelves and the possibility of putting in a motorized screen.
The existing opening is around 84" wide. That will probably change with new build.
Obviously there will be an opening below the screen... but maybe a "skirt" could be deployed across that area when screen is in action??
Any thoughts, good or bad?
Thanks
Follow Ups:
Since the screen block the dining room opening, I'm assuming your have a tv somewhere for regular programming. Would it be an inconvenience to run to the kitchen in the middle of a movie to get something?
Very cool project. I like your dog too.
Why have an opening across the bottom at all? I would put in more shelves for books or audio/video equipment.
That throughway needs to stay.
