How would you describe the difference the Richard Gray makes?
Follow Ups:
aarocks,
the Richard Gray is perfect for my set-up, Sony XBR CRT. These products very finely tune the picture and all backgrounds are pitch black.
Also, there is zero white nor red "crush". What that means, no bleeding of white nor red colors (ghosting is another term via Videophiles).
The Shunyata is perfect for those who own Plasma tv sets. It does the exact same thing, as the RGPC on a CRT, tv.
What do you think for an OLED TV?
Frankly speaking, unless you are in a large populated area that is prone to brown/black outs, I would not seek tv conditioning.
Both CRT and Plasma sets should never be exposed to the hazards of brown/black outs. This is the only reason to protect them.
My tv was $2500, 10 years ago and Plasma sets were at least that much and more in comparison. It makes good sense to protect the investment.
