can wireless speakers ever sound as good as wired speakers?
Follow Ups:
It depends on whether comparing apples to apples. Some brands like the mentioned LS50 wireless, Sauk or ynaudio, I'm sure others would provide great sound. These set ups would best many but fall short at some point as going up the food chain.
One advantage in the powered speaker all aspcts are engineered to sound their best with each other. For instance, te driver and amp would be optimized for on another, as well the cabinet, ec.
Heard some KEF LS50W, I think, at APOXNA this year that were run wireless. Sounded very good to my ear.

I was thinking that wireless speakers have their own amps. How good or comparable to the main amps are they?
Yes they have internal amps. For the money I thought they were a good value. Got me thinking about going wireless. I would call them a qualty speaker. If using for video I think they are a no-brainer. But also good for a two channel system depnding on your standards.
But this was only after a short listen at APOXNA.
