Can you let me know a model? I looked at them, didn't see anything that would put out HDMI and audio outputs...
I didn't have the patience to look through specs on all the Roku boxes, but I'm pretty sure they all output HDMI only.
If you need RCA audio out, you'd need an audio de-embeddeder. The de-embeddeder would take HDMI in from Roku (or other), strip (de-embed) the audio portion of the HDMI signal and pass it out via RCA, and then pass the video portion of the HDMI signal out via HDMI.
BTW, I'm pretty sure de-embedders come with other types of audio out connections too (optical, co-ax, etc.). They're not too expensive, but with the cost of the Roku, de-embedder, additional cables, it can add up.
I'd recommend the Roku Ultra. Model number 4800R.
I looked up that model just now, and have been looking into the de-embedders, thanks lots. I'm still at mudding stage, but will get this 4800R and extra unit shortly! This will be pretty much just for Disney+ for now, maybe ever, will see. Still worth it I think.
