New HT/2 channel set up

I'm thinking of putting together a new HT setup.

I have three Electro Voice Aristocrat III speakers (high efficiency) that would serve as front mains and center.

Will need a new AVR and rear speakers. recommendations?

the system will serve as my upstairs HT and 2 channel stereo setup. I will also add TT, CD and Marantz stereo receiver to the system.

How much do you want to spend on an AVR? Plenty of discussion and debate over at AVS forum on this stuff. I would look at the Denon X3700H.

If you want to spend less, Yamaha or Denon. If you wan to spend more Anthem. Depending upon what the rest of the HT setup looks like you might be able to get a used AVR for a good price if you don't care about features like 4K or 8K, Dolby HDR, etc.

For rear speakers, keeping with the horn tweeter theme, Klipsch or HSU Research.
