In '85, a 16-wheeler changed lanes 'cause he didn't see me (he was

dumb enough to admit this to the state patrolman that arrived on the scene). My little Honda was thrown into the ditch, flipped over at speed. I was thrown around in the compartment and suffered a very bad back injury which took several years (okay, five or six) to mend with lots of exercise, chiropractic, and care.
Take it easy, be glad you survived and GOOD luck in your recovery.
Work on getting abdominal muscles in top shape: they're key in lower back strength.
Also: don't listen to "specialists" telling you about surgery: lower back surgery is usually not necessary and doesn't do a damn thing. I was told by two leading neurologists that I needed fusion. They were full of shit. I'm fine today.
