The film is a love story, a quintessential one featuring an aging man and a 60s-era type young woman captivated by this charismatic, enigmatic fellow. We see his gruff bravado, however, dissolve as he becomes enchanted. Her attraction, on the other hand, begins to wane as she realizes he's misunderstood her commitment.
It's a great morality tale, actually, for older guys who think young women are easy pickins.'
We at least agree on, "Distant."
