Saw it this afternoon at the local IMAX and found it "OK"...

...as already noted, good CGI but some of the scenes were pretty extraneous. A couple were suspiciously similar to the scenes in "The Wizard of Oz" where the wizard is first encountered in his chamber. Also too long. Some very interesting plot developments at the end. And we're all set up for episode 9 in 2019. Most significant to me was how obviously the torch as such has been passed on to a new generation both figuratively and literally.
