Was just given big screen, need advice.

I was just given a Sony KPR-53EX35. It works fine except the front screen has a crack in it. Are these readily available and cheap? It looks to be nothing more than ribbed plexiglass. It's barely noticble but the unit is otherwise perfect and I'd like to fix it.
Also....this being my first big screen, are there any tweaks to perform or any special considerations?
