I have a new elite plasma 50 inch as well. It replaced the original 1080P Pioneer elite that came out I think 4 years ago. I could not believe the eye popping colors and black levels compared to my old set. It was kind of distracting because of this. Now after having it for a month the colors don't seem to pop as much. Maybe I am use to the set or now it has to be calibrated. Anyone else have a similar situation.
