Try the Toshiba DVR 620 (w/o tuner) or DVR 670 (with tuner)
Both also dub VHS

I've recorded over 100 movies on a Toshiva DVR to DVD in 6-hour mode, with good uck.
Quality similar to a standard (non Blu ray) comercial DVD
