I agree. The soundtrack MADE this film the masterpiece that it is, especially given the budgetary constraints. I will never forget seeing this and leaving the theater to witness a crowd outside of protesters, a curious almalgam of devout Roman Catholics, Jews, and fundamentalist Christians, none of whom had seen the film.
