Sometimes its like watching a train wreck. But most of the times, Mrs., Warrior and I enjoy it just as an entertainment spectacle (both the spectacularly bad and good), and of course, derive entertainment from the suspense of who's going to win Oscars I give a shite about. Level of satisfaction directly proportional to the interest I've got in nominated films/actors/actresses.

Follow Ups:
I should probably apologize for my apathy, especially considering I love films so much.I just can't stomach the so-called "controversy" over who's hosting from year-to-year, something which continually seems to overshadow anything actually up for awards. I'm not sure if that reflects on how calculated an exercise the host selection is or how awful the movies are.
