after reading all the reviews,
the ax100 is the most adjustable and bright picture .

  $1,400 does not include a lamp!
  When you add the lamp, it comes to $1700.

    and search on the model that interests you. There you will find reviews and links to dealer sites that give you street prices from various dealers for each model. I find this site a lot more useful in making a projector decision than the AVS forum is. The reviews are better, too, as they are done by professionals not individual owners generally biased toward whatever they just bought.
