I use a Sparkler Audio s503 CD player as both a transport and one box player. The S503 can be purchased as a transport only to save a few dollars. Sparkler was formed by the chief engineer from 47 Labs. At one time I had a 47 Labs Flatfish transport and the S503 is every bit as good.
Went on the Vinshine Audio site and it looks like the Avatar is currently unavailable due to production demands.
