Once way back in the 70's when I went to see Richard Brook's Looking For Mr. Goodbar. It was terrible and more so because it had Diane Keaton in it! A few years ago, I walked out of Mad Max: Fury Road. I'm not even sure why I went to see it other than Chalize Theron (who IS beautiful). I think Tom Hardy is a waste of air space and I have yet to see him turn a performance that was worth a shit... Good thing they didn't make him James Bond as was rumored...
Follow Ups:
I think I've watched it three or four times now.
I guess I must like it.
As far as I know its the only film I've seen with Tom Hardy.
I'll watch anything with Charlize Theron in it, at least once.
Atomic Blonde was disappointing.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
And a PERFECT film: 'The Drop'.

With Hardy playing both Krays then playing a brother who gets involved "ring fighting". They turned him into an "animal" for that film. I have no idea how they did it with CGI but saw somewhere that he and Edgerton were sporting real tissue.

Remember the songs in Goodbar? Soul or Jazz or in between. A strange melody attuned for killing.
