? Or turned off a streaming movie?

Yep.
Scary movie. Worst movie I have ever seen.

Are there any films you Didn't walk out of?
I'm still thinking about the question.

I have no idea why this movie was so highly rated. Probably because it was in a BET category, ridiculously racists and badly acted/directed like most/all movies from minority directors.
The situation resembles the kids artworks. Whatever monstrosity your kid produces it has to be hailed as a masterwork in order of not discouraging the kid. The same principle is applied to minority directors productions and in general. Their effort has to be absolutely cherished no matter what kind of excrement they produce be it Bleak panther or get out sort of crap.
I didn't actually walk out on it, but I desperately wanted to. My wife kept holding me back, until the end, when she looked at me and said "that... SUCKED!"
There were other movies that I wished I hadn't bothered to go see, but I can't say I really wanted to walk out of the theater aside from that one time watching BWP.
When it comes to streaming, we shut off a lot of movies.
it was the first matinee and when it was over there was stunned silence. Is that all? Is that all?
The marketing campaign was brilliant and that probably the absolutely highest ROI of any film made.
It created a lazy, cheap genre that is still going today.
Super low budget but was made to look a bit amateurish. It wasn't for everybody.Had some scary qualities to it.
Alexander.
Plus another "scary" one that don't remember the name. My grown son and I started giggling at the horrible acting and scenes. It started to piss off those around us, which only make our giggling worse. We left to avoid being bombarded with buttered popcorn.

I had walked out on!... When the Academy Awards rolled around, I was AMAZED it was nominated... for ANYTHING!!! That's one that Harrison should have turned down!
So much so that I bought the Blu-Ray and have watched twice more at home.
I'm a fan of the original Blade Runner, and I was afraid the sequel would fall victim to modern film-making trends and be sold as an action blockbuster. I was VERY pleasantly surprised that Denis Villeneuve stayed close to the film-making approach of the original, including the pacing.

I did like the new one, not as much as original but well enough. Probably the only movie I could stand that " La la land" schmuck. I'm definitely getting old since most /all new generation actors are getting on my nerve .Actresses predictably are way less objectionable .. :)

I made it about 10 minutes.

And, yes, I did see it all! ;-)
Except the end when the two lovers hari-kari'd their relationship. Sad and stupid. I was into it until they round-filed themselves.
I wasn't going to see it. I did see several people at another film forum say they really enjoyed it. So, I changed my mind. Not a good move on my part. I agree with Vic. Glad you enjoyed most of it.

Not even a movie... a pile of Hollywood crap.

A colossal piece of crap.On the other hand it spawned this review - and the review is more fun than the sequels prequels and is highly rewatchable.
So I credit George Lucas for resulting in this review!

went to a sneak peek preview in Westwood, CA. in May of 1977.... I have seen ALL the films countless times and I agree with you that Phantom Menace was a POS... However, having said that I also feel that each trilogy has had a stinker episode Phantom Menace being from the prequels, Return Of The Jedi from the middle section, and The Last Jedi from the recent trilogy (assuming that JJ Abrams will right the ship for the final installment)...
Star Wars was vastly superior to the prequels - I watched all three prequels - well 2 and 1/3 I guess - but all the prequels to me were pretty awful.
The fight scene is where Plinkett makes his best case and talks about all the prequels.
George lost his way.
edit: Make that five including Solo .I really enjoyed Rogue One which might be considered Episode 3 1/2 as its final scene leads directly to E4. I found some memorable characters (including a former Empire droid).
It also has a wonderful soundtrack especially in 96/24. The first track, "He's Here For Us" opens with a startle-the-crap-out-of you transient. :)

Hi,
A couple of months ago a friend had 2 tickets to the movies. We walked out of Aquaman after 10 minutes. Then the bumblebee transformer movie with John Cena and ended up watching the Mule with Clint Eastwood which was so-so....Mark
that guy is SO ugly! It defies belief as to how he became a celebrity or so-called actor!

Next thing you know, somebody's going to say they walked out of Zardoz - surely the greatest movie ever made!
I got nappy rash just watching that!.
Des
like Theron's twirls as the serial killer. A very harsh and distasteful movie. The promotion about "her greatest role" sucked me in.
Never walked out of one, as I rarely see movies in theaters.
Stopped 3 that I never have seen the ends of;
Beaches
Driving Miss Daisy
The English Patient
Nt
Well, maybe I didn't see it a second time but I sure felt like walking out. That thing deserved NO recognition whatsoever.
I research films fairly well before going to a theatre

We have also sent Netflix films back after just a few minutes.
Regarding their "Continue Watching" list - they are definitely playing games, because I see some films that that I have never touched.
Sneaky cheesy marketing of the cheapest kind.

Login into your NF account and go to the to bottom of the page. There is a heading: Viewing Activity (I recall). Click and all your viewing will be lined up chronologically and you can go out to the right of the offending item and click to make it go away from your Continue Watching. They say "within 24 hours". Long before they gave themselves up to 30 days.
I do that a couple of times a month.
(Thanks to Road Warrior for that tip a few years back.)
I just raise objection when my wife spots some soft porn in that category. :)
I use Netflix streaming less and less, as most of their streamable stuff is pure dreck.
But I get "3 DVD at a time" plan... which is a Grand Lie, because no matter how hard you try, you never get more than 2 at a time, and most of the time you just have one.
I could clock them and complain... but life is too short, and we also have Amazon Prime, plus the Criterion Channel, that is quite rich in good movies.
On top of that there are many, many movies on YouTube, we use that a lot. Mostly for Russian films, when we have some recommendation from the friends.
9 times out of 10 it turns to be garbage, so I try to keep my wife from following those recs. But some still get through. Like tonight - a Dostoyevsky based film with some great actors, from 1966, that sat on the shelf until 1987.

that's what I am getting. Two a week with what looked to be an intentional hickup. They reported two "lost" disks even though I never received them. They know things I don't.
Once way back in the 70's when I went to see Richard Brook's Looking For Mr. Goodbar. It was terrible and more so because it had Diane Keaton in it! A few years ago, I walked out of Mad Max: Fury Road. I'm not even sure why I went to see it other than Chalize Theron (who IS beautiful). I think Tom Hardy is a waste of air space and I have yet to see him turn a performance that was worth a shit... Good thing they didn't make him James Bond as was rumored...
I think I've watched it three or four times now.
I guess I must like it.
As far as I know its the only film I've seen with Tom Hardy.
I'll watch anything with Charlize Theron in it, at least once.
Atomic Blonde was disappointing.

And a PERFECT film: 'The Drop'.

With Hardy playing both Krays then playing a brother who gets involved "ring fighting". They turned him into an "animal" for that film. I have no idea how they did it with CGI but saw somewhere that he and Edgerton were sporting real tissue.

Yes, even forgot the name. A NY mafia kind of movie with every sentence laced with couple of four letter words.Famous director and all. Disgusting to see people sitting there watching it.

1) We weren't particularly enjoying it anyway but when they strung him up by his man breasts, that did it.2) Wife and I went to see Monty Python and The Search For The Holy Grail. Didn't get it (at the time). Everbuddy in the theater was laughing like crazy but the humour wasn't connecting with us and we bailed. Now an avid fan who's seen it a dozen times at least
3) Streaming, too many to mention but one that comes immediately to mind was that Sandra Bullock dog, Bird Box. I lasted maybe a half an hour.
4) Not a movie but a highly touted drama series, Billions, on Showtime(?). Great cast and wife and I were looking forward to it. In the very first scene, a guy is having sex with a hottie. Cool but, she puts a cigarette out on his stomach and proceeds to pee on him. That told us right away their target demographic wasn't us. We were immediately done with it, not 5 minutes into it. I don't care how great the series is, and it's gotten very high ratings, that message was received loud and clear.

The first time I saw the Holy Grail was in the Rio theater in Monte Rio, CA. They only had one working projector so you had to wait for them to rewind the first reel and then load the second reel. I sat through the first reel in stunned silence with my jaw dropped, but by the time the second reel started either their brand of humor had sunk in or the drugs had kicked in and I spent the rest of the movie laughing hysterically. I have been a fan ever since.
I don't care for Billions either and you would think with that cast it would be a great series. The S&M didn't bother me, it had it's shock value, I just couldn't get into it even after several tries. BTW the hottie was his therapist wife.

Re:your #4, "Billions" That was his wife. It gets stranger from there.
I love "Billions." The only thing better is "Peaky Blinders," which I am also catching up on.
But the sado masochism element ain't my thang

I'm quite surprised at the multiple Goodfellas mentions....I quite like that movie.
I think its the only movie I've ever walked out on.
Although, when streaming, I've given up on a bunch.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
And not the last. With today's ticket prices one must bail to another screen.
And the odd thing is that we really do like some of Terry Gilliam's later efforts, such as Brazil, Baron Munchausen, 12 Monkeys. . .

But I was in college. Perhaps I'd like it now?
Yes, "Mishima" (1985) about the Japanese whack job Yukio Mishima. Coppola was executive producer.

But the list of "continue watching" on netflix grows at an alarming rate and seems to be undeletable.

I go through lots of films that I bailed out on my Netflix account. They're piling up fast. Last one is 'The Perfection' ...yuck. Movies require my undivided attention and when I waste over an hour, its a bit unerving.A way to eliminate those movies you never finished is to slide that red dot that quickly advances the movie until it gets to the end. That doesn't work for miniseries, only movies(and then not always).

Could probably watch both today but won't bother
