Another flick directed by Carpenter starring Kurt Russell... A little lighter and more fun (and funny!)

Or there's also the remake of The Thing (from another world). Both Carpenter and Russell's finest hour, if you can handle it!

And if you're gonna' go that far, you may as well check out They Live. Carpenter directs and replaces Russell with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (an ex-professional wrestler) with interesting results. A subversive cult masterpiece.

Well what should I say? I saw it ( Big Trouble ) and...I found me boring to death as much as for ...The thing...
I suppose we have not the same taste, but thank you for trying and this nice post!!!
