I watched this movie in the early sixties. The film was in color and took place in modern times. The opening scene shows a delivery man dropping off a package to an apartment where two beautiful women resided.
One of the women opens the package and inside is a pair of binoculars. Curious, she picks them up, puts them to her eyes, turns the focus knob and two spikes fly-out and kill her.
That scene is the only thing my impressionable young mind remembers about that film. I do recall watching 'The Man with the X-Ray Eyes' sometime during that period in my life but I haven't been able to find it as a rental to check if the binocular scene is in it.
What movie this scene was in has been like a splinter in my brain for over fourty years. I'm hoping someone in this forum can help remove it.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I'll check it out.
If I recall correctly.

...I recall seeing a lot of them at Saturday matinees for $0.25.
Went into my favorite DVD store on the internet, typed in the name and there it was complete with a cover showing an artists interpretation of the binocular scene!
Have it on order. Can't wait to relive that child-hood nightmare.
Thanks again.
It comes with the original "Hypno-Vista" introduction warning of the gruesomeness of the movie (as an extra, not at the beginning).

sounds like a flick I'd like to see too!
Baba-Booey to you all!

You're right I should have noted the site. DeepDiscount.com is the best site on the internet for DVDs at great prices. That's where I found it.
